Marist first school in Atlanta to use 'Talk About It®', an online messaging system for students
Students use the system to communicate with select school personnel without having to reveal their identity.

ATLANTA, GA — February 4, 2010 — Marist is the first school in Atlanta to partner with an anonymous online messaging system for students called 'Talk About It®'. Students use the system, accessible through www.marist.com., to communicate with select school personnel without having to reveal their identity. They can even utilize the system through text messaging.

"Kids are used to using technology, so we are meeting them where they are," Marist School counselor Lyndsay Murphy said. Common topics students discuss through 'Talk About It®' include stress management and friendship issues. This is the first school year Marist has used the system, which also includes voting and survey functionality.
